Bryant Sparkman is responsible for sourcing Century | Urban’s real estate investment opportunities in addition to providing real estate economic and strategic advisory services to third party clients.

Bryant has over 18 years of real estate investment, development, and institutional asset management experience that encompasses a wide range of property types including commercial office buildings, multifamily apartments, for-sale residential-condominiums, full-service hotels, and large-scale mixed-use projects such as the landmark Hotel and Residences at L.A. Live in Downtown Los Angeles. Bryant has provided advisory services on over $4 billion of real estate projects in San Francisco and has significant expertise in the successful consummation of public-private-partnerships.

As a principal of Century | Urban, Leo leads real estate advisory engagements with public and private clients, such as the Port of San Francisco and the City and County of San Francisco with regard to the 3-million-square-foot Pier 70 Waterfront Site development project in San Francisco.

Leo Ma has over 21 years of real estate experience, during which he has been involved in acquiring, developing, and managing billions of dollars in properties.  Prior to Century | Urban, Leo served as Chief Financial Officer for Waypoint Homes, a leader in the emerging industry of single-family rental housing that invested over $400 million in acquiring, renovating, leasing and managing more than 2,500 homes in Arizona, California, Georgia, and Illinois during his tenure with the firm.

Griselda Blackburn has over 10 years of experience in providing real estate, financial, and economic advisory services to municipal and institutional clients.  She previously served as Vice President and Assistant Portfolio Manager for BlackRock, Inc. where she assisted in launching the firm’s first land development fund. Her responsibilities included conducting an economic feasibility study, developing the fund’s investment strategy, authoring the private placement memorandum and performing the initial underwriting for several high profile investment opportunities to seed the new fund. Furthermore, Griselda was responsible for directing portfolio operations for two real estate multifamily funds including strategic direction, property operations, and acquisition and disposition opportunities.

Jessica Murphy is responsible for performing asset and property management functions for commercial properties located in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area.  Jessica’s direct responsibilities include working with private family clients, managing third party tenant relationships, overseeing design professionals and general contractors, along with facilitating the successful operation of the properties and asset level reporting. This includes coordination of contract bidding, negotiation and selection as well as maintaining vendor relationships. Jessica also plays a role with accounting and finance operations including preparation of annual budgets, preparing monthly accounting reports, and coordinating the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

Maria Nunez is responsible for performing both analytical and asset management functions for Century | Urban. Maria’s responsibilities include providing analytical support to the firm’s advisory clients, performing financial underwriting and conducting market research to evaluate project feasibility. Maria is also responsible for performing asset and property management functions for commercial properties in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. This includes performing regular property inspections, managing third party tenant relationships and assisting with bid processes. Maria also has a role in accounting and finance operations and prepares financial reports and annual budgets.

At Century Urban, Jake Kraft works on a variety of real estate advisory and consulting matters including valuation, asset and portfolio strategy, capital markets, financial analysis, asset management and development analysis. Jake was previously a Senior Vice President with Bristol Group, Inc., a national real estate investment and development firm. At Bristol, Jake ran the apartment, self-storage, and gas station businesses and co-ran the industrial business in New Jersey and Seattle. Jake has directly managed over $445 million in assets and acquired or lent on projects totaling $145 million in cost. He has been involved in raising over $1 billion of equity for real estate investments and co-mingled funds.
